Hello!
My passion is geared toward merging technology with accessibility. I have a focus on cognitive impairment and believe that UX research perfectly takes the cache of information in research and pairs it with the hands that need it most. My Behavioral Activation assistantship allowed for face-to-face work while I still developed a solid foundation in cognition through my VRDD assistantship. Nevertheless, I am open to a diverse set of fields and my continued work with Weljo, a company dedicated to facilitating company rapport for remote teams, in the Claremont Graduate University's Games & Interactive Technology Lab is a testament to that.

EXPERTISE
Flexibility
I've spent days between evaluating signals in a combat center to performing and supervising maintenance schedules of millions of dollars worth of equipment to cooking and serving food by dinnertime for hundreds of coworkers. You need to always be ready for a dynamic workflow and I have proven that beyond academia.
Positive Environment
I am a firm believer that the personalities you build your workplace with can dictate success. Even while spending months in the middle of an ocean on a floating gray metal box, the times spent with an optimistic, dynamic crew was a night and day difference compared to those deployments without.
Collaboration
Although I had a late start to academia, I am well-versed in the significance collaboration has for a company's survival. "Never be the senior person with a secret." Being introduced to a team of diverse thoughts and perspectives is where I tend to flourish the most. I happily maintain a collaborative approach to my work to ensure the project continues to evolve.
